Guam Homeland Security/Office of Civil Defense encourages residents and visitors to practice the “3 Rs of Explosive Safety” if unexploded ordnance is discovered.
Recognize
Know when you have encountered a munition, and know that all munitions are dangerous.
Retreat
Do not approach, touch, move or disturb the ordnance. Instead, carefully leave the area.
Report
Call 911 and tell the authorities what you saw and where you saw it.

Although unexploded bullets, bombs, grenades, shells and land mines can be found anywhere on the island, they are more common along beaches, construction areas and farms.
