In Rondorf sind gleich mehrere Blindgänger aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg gefunden worden. Laut Stadt sollen diese noch heute entschärft werden. Der Fundort liegt an der Straße “Am Höfchen”. Es handelt sich um Bomben amerikanischer Bauart mit Heckaufschlagszünder. Die Weltkriegsbomben waren bei Sondierungsarbeiten entdeckt worden.
