Asda in Clevedon was evacuated shortly before 6pm and the car park cordoned off as a precautionary measure. Police were made aware of an ordnance near the store which they believe to be an unexploded bomb from World War II.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
