Three children in the Chad Talata quarter in the eighth district of the Chadian capital, N’Djamena, escaped death on Wednesday, June 1, when the grenade they were playing with exploded. HumAngle understands that one of the kids pulled out the grenade’s security pin. “Immediately after he pulled out the pin, the grenade exploded. The children in front of the big boy who pulled the pin were seriously affected by the explosion,” one of the parents of the victims revealed. The boy who pulled out the pin had his left hand torn into pieces. The explosion also affected his manhood and right foot. All the wounded children were taken to the Chad-China Friendship Hospital in N’Djamena and received medical treatment. An official in the hospital where the children are receiving treatment said one other child was seriously wounded. At the same time, the youngest one was seriously injured on the good lap and left knee. The source hinted that a fourth child was lightly wounded, and he has since returned home.
