Police at the scene were overheard saying that they were not happy that the grenade was moved and will “be having words with those who pulled it out”. However, those who discovered the bomb are said to have already left the scene.

La notizia giunge alla Polizia la quale giunge sul posto con l’intenzione di “rimproverare” il folle pescatore di ordigni, ma non trova più il protagonista della vicenda già fuggito via. Per ragioni di sicurezza le autorità mutano anche il percorso di una benefica manifestazione sportiva (Chariots of Fire). Gli artificieri rimuovono la granata risalente alla prima guerra mondiale, ma priva di materiali esplodenti. Hobby quello del magnete che andrebbe immediatamente fermato, le leggi esistono anche nel Regno Unito, vanno solo applicate.
