A fishing boat skipper has described the ‘nervy’ moment they pulled up a 1,000lb world war two mine from the bottom of the sea in their nets – before carrying back towards shore and waiting bomb disposal experts. Richard Coombes and his crew out of Brixham were fishing in the stern trawler Stella Maris in Lyme Bay when they snagged a massive World War Two parachute mine.
