South Wales Police and Neath Port Talbot Council have confirmed the bomb has now been removed from the area and the site has re-opened. A spokesman from the council has issued the following statement: “The device was found in a scrap bin this morning at the Household Waste and Recycling Centre in Briton Ferry by a member of staff.
