The state bomb squad was called after a contractor working on a Fairfield County home uncovered a hand grenade in the backyard.The World War II-era hand grenade, was found around 7 p.m. Saturday at the home located 45 Cornell Street in Bridgeport, said Bridgeport Police spokesman Av Harris.
