Der Blindgänger aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg, der vor der Zuschauertribüne im Stadion im Sportpark entdeckt worden war, ist entschärft. Alle Sperrmaßnahmen sind damit ab sofort aufgehoben. Um 17:29 Uhr meldete der Kampfmittelbeseitigungsdienst der Bezirksregierung Arnsberg, dass die 250-Kilogramm-Bombe unschädlich gemacht worden ist.

Auch von verrosteten Krieisrelikten und Waffen können noch Gefahren ausgehen. Beim Fund von Kriegsmaterial wird ein Sicherheitsabstand eingehalten und sofort die Polizei zu verständigen. Der Besitz von Kriegsrelikten ist laut Polizei allgemein verboten.
