Der Revierförster hat am Donnerstag im Budenheimer Wald eine Phosphorstabbombe gefunden. Wie die Polizei mitteilt, handelte es sich um ein Relikt aus dem Zweiten Weltkrieg. Nach Rücksprache mit dem Kampfmittelräumdienst konnte die vom Förster hinzugerufene Polizeistreife die Bombe fachgerecht sicherstellen.

Auch von verrosteten Krieisrelikten und Waffen können noch Gefahren ausgehen. Beim Fund von Kriegsmaterial wird ein Sicherheitsabstand eingehalten und sofort die Polizei zu verständigen. Der Besitz von Kriegsrelikten ist laut Polizei allgemein verboten.
