Dorset Police were called to Evershot at 4.51pm yesterday (Sunday, August 14) following reports of a possible World War 2 incendiary device. The item was found in Back Lane, Evershot. Police attended the scene and informed the Explosive Ordnance Department. The EOD disposed of the item and made the surrounding area safe.
