Bomb disposal experts examined a suspected unexploded device, which was found during construction works earlier. Avon and Somerset Police attended Kings Weston Lane in Avonmouth, Bristol, at about 14:09 BST after the item was discovered. Officers set up a safety cordon while the Explosive Ordnance Disposal Team attended the scene.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
