BOMB disposal teams have rushed to a Scots beach after an unexploded device was discovered. The potentially deadly material was found on a beach in the Brough of Deerness area of Orkney earlier today. Police raced to the beach around 4pm and alerted bomb disposal experts after the alarm was raised. Cops said people should avoid the area and confirmed Explosive Ordnance disposal has been informed. A tweet from Northern Police read: “Officers in Orkney received report of an unexploded ordnance on a beach in the Brough of Deerness area around 4pm on Saturday, 20 November, 2021.
