The crew of the vessel noticed the 155mm projectile, which they did not know as such until the Coast Guard team arrived, while the ship was about to dock at ramp 5 of the Batangas port and coming from the anchorage area, also of the same port.

Durante la operazioni di attracco al molo N.5 situato nel Porto della città di Batangas, marinai della Nave “Sant’Ignazio di Loyola”, notano una granata inesplosa da 155 mm incastrata all’ àncora di tribordo (destra). Sul posto giungono gli artificieri.
