In rete è apparsa la notizia del rinvenimento di una bomba d’aereo trovata tra i Distretti Monastiraki e Plaka durante lavori di scavi effettuati tra le vie Ermou e Nikis. In realtà non si tratta di una né di una bomba d’aereo né di un altro ordigno bellico inesploso, ma parte staccata di una vecchia tubatura.
