Planmäßig wurde am Vormittag bei Perleberg eine Weltkriegsbombe gesprengt. Es gab keine Zwischenfälle. Die wichtigen Bundesstraßen B 189 alt und neu blieben nur für knapp zwei Stunden gesperrt. Nur wenige Metallsplitter sind von der 250 Kilogramm schweren Bombe noch übrig.

Auch von verrosteten Krieisrelikten und Waffen können noch Gefahren ausgehen. Beim Fund von Kriegsmaterial wird ein Sicherheitsabstand eingehalten und sofort die Polizei zu verständigen. Der Besitz von Kriegsrelikten ist laut Polizei allgemein verboten.
