An unpleasant story takes place in the city of Älvdalen: two children are the protagonists of this story with the river Rotälven and two remnants of war. Teenagers, while snorkeling in the river, think to see a thermos on the bottom, so they decide to take it to the surface, finally to the beach. A relative of the small divers realizes that it is not a thermos, but an unexploded grenade, so immediately alert the police. The bomb squads arrive on the spot and remove and destroy the grenade. Also on this occasion the bomb squads intervene and remove the bomb. The double discovery alerts the residents who ask the authorities to reclaim the river bed. Meanwhile, the Municipal Police closes the affair by declaring that they are simulacra, so not dangerous. On the contrary, the Mayor, who is not convinced of the municipal theory, wants to reclaim that area of the river, so he closes that stretch of beach to the public. Una spiacevole storia che accade nella città di Älvdalen e che vede come protagonisti della vicenda due ragazzini, il fiume Rotälven e due residuati bellici. I teenager, mentre praticano snorkeling tra le acque del fiume, sul fondo credono di vedere un termos, quindi decidono di portarlo in superficie, infine in spiaggia. Un parente dei piccoli sub, si rende conto che non si tratta di un termos, bensì di una granata inesplosa, perciò allerta immediatamente la Polizia. Sul posto giungono gli artificieri i quali rimuovono e distruggono la granata. Il giorno seguente e nell’identico sito i ragazzi ripetono lo snorkeling e sul fondale trovano un’altra granata inesplosa. I ragazzi in questa occasione e memori dell’esperienza vissuta il giorno precedente, non toccano la granata, ma allertano subito gli adulti presenti in spiaggia. Anche in questa occasione intervengono gli artificieri che rimuovono l’ordigno. Il doppio rinvenimento allerta i residenti i quali chiedono alle autorità di bonificare il fondale del fiume. Intanto la Polizia Municipale chiude la vicenda dichiarando che si tratta di simulacri quindi non pericolosi. Al contrario il Sindaco non convinto della teoria della municipale vuole bonificare quella zona di fiume, quindi chiude al pubblico il tratto di spiaggia in questione. Noi di Biography of a bomb, visto che nel territorio di Älvdalen, in data 30/07/2018 a causa di un rogo boschivo sono esplosi più residuati bellici interrati, prendiamo sosteniamo il buon senso dell’Amministrazione Comunale.
