“If you ever come across anything suspicious like this item, please do not pick it up, contact your local law enforcement agency for assistance”
By James Rann
The unexploded shell was found by a dog walker last night (Friday) just metres from the road. It is believed that the shell was dug up somewhere else and transported to its current location in Nunwell where it’s been placed in a white plastic bag. Police were alerted, and have been guarding the shell overnight whilst they await bomb disposal from the mainland.
