The soldiers of KFOR Eastern Regional Command for the disposal of unexploded ordnance (EOD) have led the operations for the disposal of explosive devices in the north of Kosovo. After successfully clearing the road of potential hazards, British engineer soldiers are now able to carry out road repairs in the area. Multiple militaries working together within KFOR demonstrate NATO’s overall force strength and capabilities. KFOR continues to implement its mandate to contribute to a safe environment for all people and communities in Kosovo and freedom of movement, at all times as the third security responder, after the Kosovo Police and EULEX.
