Three German bombs, left over from the Second World War, were found today in the village of Shakovice in Podujevo, during the works on the extension of the Pristina-Podujevo road. In the announcement of the Kosovo Security Force, it is stated that “in a joint operation, today the demining teams of the National Guard of the Kosovo Security Force and the EOD team from the US Army’s ‘Bondsteel’ camp have managed to to dispose of three German SC-50 bombs left over from World War II. Bombs were found during the works on the highway Prishtina-Podujevo in the village of Shakovicë, which were taken to a safe place, to be demolished later, according to the plans of the demining teams”, the announcement states. /Telegraph/
