The Maine State Police Bomb Squad was called to a home on High Street in West Paris Wednesday to dispose of an unexploded grenade. Using x-ray imaging, police determined that the MK2 “pineapple” grenade seemed like it could still contain energetic material. The Oxford County Sheriff’s Office says the caller told them the grenade might have come from a relative who served in WWII or Korea.
