Avon and Somerset Police evacuated several homes this morning after a grenade was discovered in Fishponds, Bristol, as bomb disposal teams were dispatched to the area. An explosive Ordnance Disposal Team was called to Fishponds, a large suburb of Bristol, earlier today. Witnesses told how relatives were evacuated at around 9.40am.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
