A Royal Navy Bomb Disposal team joined police on the Isle of Wight this morning after reports of a potential unexploded ordnance in Seaview. Police were called at 7.58am today after a member of the public had found what appeared to be a piece of ordnance on the beach at Seagrove Bay.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
