According to CMAC stated on February 19, 2024 that venerable Nheb Sonang, 18, who stays in Borom Sal Prek Phnom Svay pagoda in Banteay Meanchey province got injured on the right thigh and near ear due to an explosion of unexploded ordnance on February 18. The accident happened at 5.30 pm while the victim was collecting garbage and burning at the pagoda, causing a bombto explode.The monk was taken to Serei Sophorn city Referral Hospital for treatment.
