An abandoned and old hand grenade has been recovered from a house of Shibchar upazila in Madaripur. Being informed, Shibchar Thana Police recovered the grenade from the house of Mizanur Rahman Bepari at Bhandarikandi union on Friday night. According to sources, two children found the grenade in a bush about 5/6 months ago when they were playing near their house. They brought it to their house and gave it to their sister Sumaya Akhter, 20. But she could not identify it at that time. On Friday seeing a TV news report, she identified it and phoned to 999.
