An unexploded bomb has been removed from a street in Glasgow following an incident this afternoon. Househillmuir Road in Pollok was locked down by police after the alarm was raised shortly after lunchtime on Sunday. The street between number 386 and the junction with Dunside Drive was cordoned off by officers following a report of the possible “ordnance item” being found. Several properties were evacuated and locals were urged to avoid the area. Police have confirmed the street has now reopened and residents have returned to their homes after the item was removed by the Explosive Ordnance Disposal team.
