HULU SELANGOR: Two friends on a fishing trip caught the surprise of their life after discovering an old bomb. Hulu Selangor OCPD Supt Suffian Abdullah said the discovery was made on Wednesday (Sept 7) at the Sungai Kedongong waterfall recreation area, off Jalan Batang Kali-Genting Highland. A report was lodged on Friday (Sept 9), he said in a statement. “The old bomb was estimated to have weighed around 50kgs and was partly buried and was inactive. “Based on our investigations we believe that the bomb had been dropped by a aeroplane during World War Two,” he said.
