23rd June. RESIDENTS in Coatbridge were evacuated from their homes today after an “unexploded ordinance” was found. Cops were called to an electrical substation near Corsewall Street at around 12.40pm following the discovery. Officers locked down the area and some residents were evacuated while assessments were carried out by the EOD. Police confirmed the item was safely removed.
