Ayon sa nakasaksing magsasaka, nagpuputol daw ng puno ng saging ang kaniyang anak sa kanilang bakuran sa Brgy. Pugay sa bayan ng Baras nang makita nila ang dalawang mortar bomb na may sukat na 81mm. Isa ring pinaniniwalaang bomba na nasa 80mm ang sukat ang natagpuan naman ng isang TNVS driver sa bakanteng lote sa Brgy. Silangan sa San Mateo.
