Une bombe au phosphore a été découverte ce lundi vers 16h dans un champ à Saint-Vith, forçant l’évacuation d’une partie de la ville par précaution. Les personnes qui habitent ou travaillent le long de la Rodter Strasse entre le rond-point du centre sportif et la boulangerie Fonk ou encore certaines parties de la route de Malmedy et An der Dell ont dû être évacuées afin de laisser travailler l’équipe de déminage en toute sécurité.

DOVO waarschuwt daarom voor het potentieel gevaar en raadt aan om de politie te contacteren bij aantreffen van deze of andere oorlogstuigen. “In dit geval gaat het om een afgevuurd projectiel met gewapend ontstekingsmechanisme. Elke aanraking of verplaatsing kan gevaarlijk zijn”, waarschuwt DOVO.
