Im Landkreis Wesermarsch wurde eine rauchende Phosphorbombe gefunden. Aufgrund der Toxizität der Dämpfe wurde ein Sicherheitsradius von 300 Metern eingerichtet. Die Rauchwolke bewegte sich auch auf das Dorf Ruhwarden zu. Anwohner der Städte Langwarden und Ruhrwarden wurden eindringlich aufgefordert, Türen und Fenster zu schließen.
Auch von verrosteten Krieisrelikten und Waffen können noch Gefahren ausgehen. Beim Fund von Kriegsmaterial wird ein Sicherheitsabstand eingehalten und sofort die Polizei zu verständigen. Der Besitz von Kriegsrelikten ist laut Polizei allgemein verboten.
