今午(2日)4時許，警方接獲報案，指在柴灣柴灣道75號一山坡旁邊發現懷疑炸彈。警方接報封鎖現場，爆炸品處理課(EOD)人員亦奉召到場，初步得知該炸彈為一枚二戰時期的日軍日製炮彈，長約27厘米，直徑約75毫米。炸彈最終由EOD即場安全引爆，事件中毋須疏散，無人受傷。
