An eight-year-old girl was killed in a landmine explosion that occurred in Kyaikmaraw Township on January 19. Early in the morning of January 18, an 8-year-old girl was throwing garbage at the rubbish dump of the corner of Panglong Road and West Football Stadium Road, Yan Myo Aung Ward, when a landmine exploded.
