A total of 39 aerial bombs were found and safely removed in different provinces throughout Cambodia in the first eleven months of 2021, according to a report from the Cambodian Mine Action Center (CMAC). Most of the bombs were MK 82 low-drag general-purpose bombs weighing 230 kilogrammes and M117 massive bombs weighing approximately 340 kilogrammes, it said. They were found and removed from road construction sides, excavation areas and rivers in the capital and eight provinces, Kandal, Takeo, Kampong Chhnang, Kampong Cham, Tboung Khmum, Battambang, Kampot and Koh Kong.
