Medic Adir Nitan said, “I live next door, and immediately after I heard the explosion I ran to the scene. I saw a man around age 30 lying unconscious on the ground. He had suffered a severe multi-system injury. We administered medical treatment but at the end were forced to declare him dead.” Hebrew media reported that he had apparently been killed by a grenade that exploded in his hand.
