People were evacuated 1,000 feet in all directions while the team worked to remove the ordnance. The Air Force team will destroy the device, police said. They did not identify what type of ordnance it was or from what military era.

Città Charleston. Durante lavori di scavi effettuati in Meeting Street, gli operai trovano un residuato bellico. Gli artificieri dell’Aeronautica per rimuovere l’ordigno allontanano ogni residente che si trova nel raggio calcolato in 1.000 piedi, (300 m), quindi dalla foto e da questo dato possiamo presumere che possa trattarsi di una piccola bomba d’aereo (100 libbre?) da esercitazione.
