Peel police say they’ve removed a live grenade from the basement of a home near Sutherland Avenue and Crawford Drive in Brampton on Tuesday.
The grenade was found inside a locker. The person who called police informed them that their deceased father had a military background.
The Explosive Disposal Unit safely removed the grenade and no evacuations were necessary.
