Governor spokesman Samim Khapalwak told Pajhwok Afghan News the blast took place at around 9:30am on the outskirts of Maiwand district. He said injured had been evacuated to the hospital but there was no information about their health condition. The landmine was recently planted by militants and exploded when a tractor was passing through the place.
