Het gaat volgens de wijkagent om Engelse granaten van het type Mills 36. Dat type werd in de Eerste en Tweede Wereldoorlog gebruikt door het Britse leger. De explosieven-opruimingsdienst EOD van Defensie heeft de granaten op een veilige plek tot ontploffing gebracht.
