3월 10일자 노동신문은 4면에 ‘미제의 만행을 폭로하는 110여발의 각종 폭발물들을 제거’라는 제목으로 기사를 실었는데, 이는 조선중앙통신의 보도를 가져온 것이다. 기사를 보면, 화성지구 1만 세대 살림집(아파트) 건설 당시부터 현재까지 110여발의 각종 폭탄, 포탄, 지뢰, 수류탄 등의 폭발물이 발견되었다고 했는데, 화성지구 아파트 건설 착공식이 2022년 2월 12일에 있었던 만큼 약 13개월 동안 발견된 폭발물의 양인 것이다.
