Provincia Samut Songkhram, Distretto Mueang, Sottodistretto di Lat Yai. ตำรวจ สภ.เมืองสมุทรสงคราม พร้อมหน่วยเก็บกู้และตรวจสอบวัตถุระเบิด หรือ อีโอดี ได้รับแจ้งว่า มีคนพบวัตถุต้องสงสัย ลักษณะคล้ายระเบิด ถูกทิ้งไว้บริเวณกองขยะ ภายในหมู่บ้านแห่งหนึ่ง ตำบลลาดใหญ่ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดสมุทรสงคราม จึงเร่งปิดกั้นพื้นที่และให้ผู้ไม่เกี่ยวข้องออกจากที่เกิดเหตุ เพื่อป้องกันอันตราย จากการตรวจสอบพบ ลูกกระสุนปืนใหญ่ จำนวน 1 ลูก ซึ่งมีสภาพเก่า และสนิมเขรอะ เจ้าหน้าที่อีโอดีเก็บกู้ด้วยความระมัดระวัง
นอกจากนี้ยังได้แจ้งเตือนผู้ที่หาปลาว่าถ้าพบวัตถุต้องสงสัยอย่าได้เข้าใกล้หรือเคลื่อนย้ายเพราะอาจจะเกิดอันตรายได้โดยเชื่
