Σοβαρή επιχείρηση πραγματοποιήθηκε σήμερα όταν βρέθηκε οβίδα από τον Β’ Παγκόσμιο Πόλεμο σε χωράφι στο 10ο χιλιόμετρο της Εθνικής Οδού Λάρισας-Κοζάνης. Άμεσα κινητοποιήθηκε ο στρατός και η οβίδα μεταφέρθηκε στο παλιό λατομείο στον Τύρναβο, όπου εξουδετερώθηκε με ελεγχόμενη έκρηξη. Όλα τα απαραίτητα μέτρα ασφαλείας τηρήθηκαν για την προστασία των πολιτών, με τον ισχυρό κρότο της έκρηξης να ακούγεται στην ευρύτερη περιοχή, προκαλώντας αναστάτωση αλλά χωρίς κίνδυνο.
