Σίγουρα ένα απ’ τα πιο αξιοπερίεργα ευρήματα έκανε την εμφάνισή του σήμερα στην παραλία της Παχειάς Άμμου με λουόμενους να εντοπίζουν ένα κουτί που ανοίγοντάς το, είδαν με έκπληξη πως περιείχε πολεμικά βλήματα! Τα βλήματα σύμφωνα με το radiolasithi.gr, όπως φαίνεται και στις φωτογραφίες ήταν χρησιμοποιημένα ενώ φαίνεται πως το κουτί βρισκόταν για αρκετό καιρό μέσα στο νερό. φωτογραφία από radiolasithi.gr Πιθανότερο σενάριο για την προέλευσή του υλικού είναι να προέρχεται από κάποιο ελληνικό πολεμικό πλοίο που για κάποιο λόγο να βρέθηκε στη θάλασσα. Για το εύρημα αυτό έχει ενημερωθεί το αρμόδιο Λιμεναρχείο Αγίου Νικολάου ώστε να επιληφθεί για την περισυλλογή και έρευνα του περιστατικού.
