Όλμος του Β’ Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου εντοπίστηκε κοντά στην Γεωπονική Σχολή. Ενημερώθηκε κλιμάκιο του Ελληνικού Στρατού, το οποίο τον απομάκρυνε. Συναγερμός σήμανε το μεσημέρι της Παρασκευής στις αρμόδιες Αρχές όταν βρέθηκε όλμος στη Γεωπονική Σχολή. Ο πρύτανης ενημέρωσε αμέσως την Αστυνομία και μόλις διαπιστώθηκε ότι πρόκειται για πολεμικό υλικό κλήθηκε κλιμάκιο του Ελληνικού Στρατού το οποίο έσπευσε στο σημείο και τον μάζεψε.
