Hovertravel has cancelled its crossings between Southsea and Ryde due to an unexploded bomb near Southsea Common today (Tuesday, December 3). Hovertravel is expected to provide an update at 12.45pm. Hovertravel said in a statement: “Services are cancelled due to an unexploded WW2 Bomb.

If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
