A grenade which was found in a Cambridge garden has been destroyed by specialists. Part of Mill Road was closed with a police cordon in place while officers responded on Monday, October 7. Police were called at about 3pm with reports that a grenade had been found in the garden of a property on Mill Road. Police attended the scene and put cordons in place.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
