Greene County. BY JON ANDREASSI. Waynesburg police called on the Allegheny County Bomb Squad Wednesday for help disposing of World War II-era explosives. Waynesburg Chief of Police Billy Nichols said a man reported to the police station shortly before 2 p.m. that he had come across a mortar round while cleaning out his grandfather’s belongings.
