In date 16th February, the conference “Stop Bombing Civilians” occurred in the A. Malignani institute of Udine. The school head, Prof. Andrea Carletti gave the first greetings. The auditorium is full of students and teachers. Then, the microphone is passed to the Provincial President ANVCG Adriana Geretto. He presented all the reasons behind the idea of the National Association Civilian Victims of War of raising awareness about war and its victims through this international project. All presents applaud. Later, the Assessor of Culture and Social Politics, Dr. Federico Pirone is up. The conference kept on with the delivery of the certificates of merit to the students who participated to the contest “Life is a masterpiece, the war is a crazy jump in the dark”. After the award ceremony the campaign “Conoscere per Ri-Conoscere” starts. The experts show the bomb images to the students, who understand the risks of touching an unexploded bomb of first or second world war. After the speech of the Responsible ANVCG of the Department unexploded devices, Dr. Ilaria Zamburlini of Emergenecy contributes to the conference and finally the President Adriana Geretto concludes. Il 16 febbraio la conferenza “Stop bombe sui civili” si è svolta presso l’Istituto A. Malignani di Udine. Ad aprire i lavori è il Dirigente Scolastico Prof. Andrea Carletti. L’Aula Magna è colma di studenti e docenti. Il Dirigente cede il microfono alla Presidente Provinciale ANVCG Adriana Geretto che spiega ai presenti le ragioni che hanno spinto l’Associazione Nazionale Vittime Civili di Guerra a proporre in aula il macro-messaggio contenuto dal progetto internazionale (Stop Bombing Civilians) a cui la stessa Associazione per mezzo del Presidente Nazionale Avv. Giuseppe Castronovo, ha subito aderito. I ragazzi applaudono. A seguire giunge il turno dell’Assessore alla Cultura e Politiche Sociali il dott. Federico Pirone. La conferenza continua con la consegna degli attestati di merito consegnati ai ragazzi protagonisti del concorso: “la vita è un capolavoro, la guerra un folle salto nel buio”. Dopo le premiazioni inizia la Campagna “Conoscere per Ri-Conoscere“. Gli studenti vedono foto, slide, comprendono i pericoli che ancora oggi potrebbero rappresentare i residuati bellici della prima o seconda guerra mondiale. Al responsabile del Dipartimento ANVCG Ordigni bellici Inesplosi segue il contributo della Dott.ssa Emergency Ilaria Zamburlini, quindi le conclusioni, saluti e ringraziamenti della Presidente Adriana Geretto.
