An army bomb squad had to be deployed to a house in Much Hadham on Tuesday evening after a resident found a World War Two era hand grenade in a Winnie the Pooh mug.
Police were called to Oudle Lane at around 1pm in the afternoon after they discovered the hand grenade, and realising what they were dealing with, called the bomb squad.
If you find anything that appears to be an explosive device, do not touch it, leave it where it is and call the police. We will contact the appropriate agencies to properly dispose of the item.
