A sweeper was injured on Saturday after an old unexploded shell went off while he was cleaning a private school in Handwara area of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. Quoting official sources, news agency GNS reported that the sweeper identified as Reyaz Ahmad Ahanger son of Abdul Ahad Ahanger was cleaning the ‘Hillwill School’ when the shell went off, leaving him injured.

Un dipendente di una scuola di Handwara, mentre pulisce un punto del giardino dell’Istituto è improvvisamente colpito da un’esplosione che lo ferisce. Sul posto giungono le autorità preposte che chiariscono che a detonare è stato un “vecchio” proiettile. La seconda fonte specifica che si tratta di un residuato bellico.
